It has been brought to our attention that some members of our church have received suspicious emails claiming to be from one of our pastors requesting the recipients to buy gift cards on his behalf.

These fraudulent emails promise to reimburse the recipients. Additionally, the scammer asks for a picture of the back of the gift cards with the PIN revealed.

We want to emphasize that these emails are NOT from our church pastors. The scammer has attempted to mimic our email format, but please be aware that our legitimate emails will only end with "@mcbccanada.com," not "@gmail.com."

If you receive such an email, please forward it to and do not take any further action requested by the fraudulent email.
